As a cosmetic surgeon, I have a large referral based on the nose job results I have done for my patients. My nose reshaping techniques have always been to perform both open and close approaches. I believe that I can achieve the changes that both I and the patient go over preoperatively; I also firmly believe in the preoperative computer imaging of the nose so I keep a constant communication with the patient so we can discuss the changes that we would achieve in the operating room.
As for my abdominoplasty technique, however, I find it critical to get a natural looking abdomen, not just a tight abdomen with a scar. For me, the abdominoplasty procedure, like all plastic surgical procedures, is detail oriented. I believe that liposuction should be combined with the abdominoplasty procedure because it adds not only to the results, but to the safety factor of the abdominoplasty procedure as well. Because of this technique, only minimal complications are the possibilities and the recovery period is shorter and more comfortable.
For me, creating a natural-looking umbilicus with a three dimensional shape of the abdomen is critical, as well as the ability to predict the position and the quality of the scar. However, I am proud about the hundreds of abdominoplasty procedures I performed yearly.
Many patients who come to our practice look for liposuction procedures and liposuction modalities differ, starting with ultrasound assisted liposuction, vaser system, and smart liposuction. Whenever I conduct a liposuction procedure, I always believe that using very tiny cannulas is vital to achieve natural smooth liposuction results. However, I do not believe any of the new modalities, whether it is smart liposuction or laser system; I think that these are predictable enough to replace the tradition to liposuction, which is by using tiny cannulas. Moreover, I also think it is crucial to appreciate that as we age, we deflate so it is as critical to refill our faces as it is to lift the deep tissues that have sagged over the years. I also believe in not using the skin as the vehicle to lift the face, but through the procedure I conduct, I always make sure to provide a result that looks natural with well-placed, unnoticeable scars. I know that lifting the muscles of the face, along with the repositioning the fat, as well as using fat transfer to the face contains a high concentration of stem cells which not only reestablish volume of the face, but can also regenerate the vibrancy of the youthful face. Because of this, I was able to provide satisfying results on my patients.
